Desborough Bowls Club
Desborough Bowls Club is a brand new 40,000 sq ft indoor and outdoor bowls facility. The development built by Wren Construction was completed to the highest of Sports England building standards.
Setpoint Solutions we appointed to supply and install the LG VRF heating and cooling with low pressure hot water radiators and heat recovery ventilation. The main challenge of the project was the heating and cooling of the indoor green, the areas is a massive 40x40 meters with a ceiling height of 8 meters.
We proposed the LG Multi V5 25kW high static ducted units which cope well with long piping distances between condensers and fan-coils. Installed at a height of 6 meters with jet diffusers to provide air flow across the area.
The Bar, Lounge, Changing Rooms and Office areas are served with LG cassettes and heat recovery ventilation units which are linked to a 25kW LG Hydro Kit which provides the low pressure hot water heating circuit.
The complete solutions is operated on the LG touch screen controller and maximises efficiency while also reducing running costs for the occupier.
